Meet Heidi, E-RYT 200, RYT 500

Heidi is a lifelong athlete and wellness enthusiast who first discovered yoga in 2001. What began as a way to complement her long-distance running gradually became a much deeper practice. After a decade of pounding the pavement, her body asked for something new—and yoga answered. As she returned to the mat with fresh intention, she found that yoga offered so much more than physical movement. It became a pathway to presence, growth and self-discovery.

Heidi earned her RYT 200 certification in 2017 and completed her RYT 500 in 2020.

A lifelong learner, Heidi is also a certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through Brown University’s School of Public Health and a trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher. She holds bachelor’s degrees in early childhood and elementary education, a master’s in special education, and is a licensed teacher through the Ohio Department of Education. For over 20 years, she taught inclusive preschool and continues to bring that same nurturing spirit to her work.

Heidi is inspired by nature, good food, laughter, music and meaningful connections. Whether she’s leading a yoga class, a mindfulness session, or a meditation practice, Heidi aims to create a welcoming space where students of all ages and abilities can explore with curiosity, build awareness, and experience a sense of wholeness.
